American Avocet and Bonaparte's Gulls at the Gridley Wastewater Treatment Ponds

While I was watching a pair of Bonaparte's Gulls I found at the Gridley Wastewater Treatment Ponds after work, an American Avocet that was standing along the edge of the pond flew out into the pond, joining the Bonaparte's Gulls.





As I had found an American Avocet at the same location on April 29 this year, this was the second American Avocet I had found at this location.
